Dua After Salat at-Tasbih
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ تَوْفِيقَ أَهْلِ الْهُدَى، وَأَعْمَالَ أَهْلِ الْيَقِينِ، وَمُنَاصَحَةَ أَهْلِ التَّوْبَةِ، وَعَزْمَ أَهْلِ الصَّبْرِ، وَجِدَّ أَهْلِ الْخَشْيَةِ، وَطَلَبَ أَهْلِ الرَّغْبَةِ، وَتَعَبُّدَ أَهْلِ الْوَرَعِ، وَعِرْفَانَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، حَتَّى أَخَافَكَ
O Allāh! I ask You for the success You granted to the guided ones, the actions of those who have certainty, the sincerity of the truly repentant, the resolution of those who persevere, the earnestness of those who fear You, the request of those who are earnest, the worship of the scrupulous, the gnosis of those who have knowledge, so that I may fear You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مَخَافَةً تَحْجُزُنِي عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ، حَتَّى أَعْمَلَ بِطَاعَتِكَ عَمَلًا أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهِ رِضَاكَ، وَحَتَّى أُنَاصِحَكَ بِالتَّوْبَةِ خَوْفًا مِنْكَ، وَحَتَّى أُخْلِصَ لَكَ النَّصِيحَةَ حَيَاءً مِنْكَ، وَحَتَّى أَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْكَ فِي الْأُمُورِ حُسْنَ ظَنٍّ بِكَ، سُبْحَانَ خَالِقِ النُّورِ. وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
O Allāh! Instill in me fear that will be a barrier between me and disobedience to You; so that I may act in obedience to You, such that I become deserving of Your good pleasure; and that I may be sincere in my repentance to You, and trust You in all affairs with a good opinion of You. Glory be to You, the Creator of light.
