Adhkar after the obligatory prayer
INVOCATIONS (ADHKĀR) AFTER THE OBLIGATORY ṢALĀH:
I seek Allah’s forgiveness. (3 times)
O Allāh! You are (the Source of) peace, from You comes peace, and unto You returns peace. So greet us with peace, O our Lord, and admit us into Your Abode of Peace. Blessed and exalted are You, O Lord of Majesty and Honor.
O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold. None can overturn what You decree, and no wealth or status can benefit anyone against You.
O Allāh! Help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You beautifully.
Our Lord, accept ˹this˺ from us. You are indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. Accept our repentance. You are truly the Accepter of repentance, Most Merciful. (3 times)
May the blessings and peace of Allāh be upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and companions
as many times as the number of His creation, the extent of His pleasure, the weight of His Throne, and the ink it would take to write His Words.
Glorified is your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. Peace be upon the messengers. And all praise be to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of all worlds.
at every moment, for all time, to the number of His creation, to the extent of His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the ink that it would take to write His Words.
One adds after the ṣalāh of Fajr and Maghrib, before moving one's legs:
There is no god but Allāh alone, with no partner. To Him belong all dominion and praise. He gives life and He causes death. He has power over all things (10 times)
If it's morning, one then says:
and to Him is the return.
If it's evening, one says:
and to Him is the ultimate return.
There is no ability to change from one state to another, nor any strength, except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great; in every moment forever, to the number of His creation, to the extent of His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the ink that it would take to write His Words.
---
Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One who is majestically mighty. Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One who is cloaked in supreme majesty. Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One who veils Himself in light. Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One who is alone in His absolute oneness. Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One who subdues His servants by death. Exalted and utterly transcendent is the One whose true power none knows but He, and whose describers can never fully portray His attributes. Exalted and utterly transcendent is my Lord the Supremely High, the Continuous Unconditional Giver;
to the number of His Creation, to the extent of His Pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the ink that it would take to write His Words.
I seek refuge with Allāh from the accursed Satan. In the Name of Allāh, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Your God is one God. There is no god but Him. He is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
Allāh! There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither slumber nor sleep can overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the Heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what will happen to (His creatures) in this world and what will happen to them in the Hereafter; nor shall they comprehend anything at all of His Knowledge except as He Wills. His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not burden Him in the slightest. He is the Exalted, the Magnificent.
Glory be to You, O Most High, O Magnificent One!
Glory be to Allāh. (33 times) Praise be to Allāh. (33 times) Allāh is Supreme. (33 times) There is no god but Allāh alone, and He has no partner; to Him belongs all dominion, and to Him belongs all praise; He gives life and He causes death; and He has power over all things.
Then one raises their hands in supplication, and says (silently):
Praise be to Allāh, Lord of all worlds. O Allāh! Bestow blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon his family...
Then one supplicates for whatever one wants, so long as it is pleasing to Allāh Most High. After that, recite the supplication of Imām al-Ḥaddād, which is:
O Allāh, remove from my heart all esteem for this world and all desire for status in the eyes of people that leads me to disobey You, distracts me from Your obedience or comes between me and attaining intimate knowledge of You and pure love for You. May the blessings and peace of Allāh be upon our master Muḥammad, his family and companions. All praise be to Allāh, Lord of all worlds.
I ask forgiveness of Allāh the Magnificent. There is no god but Him. He is the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting and I return to Him in repentance. (3 times)
I bear witness that there is no god but Allāh alone; He has no partner; He is the One God and ever-witnessing Lord, and to Him we submit as Muslims. (4 times)
There is no god but Allāh, Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh; in every blink of the eye and every breath, as many times as all that is encompassed by Allāh’s knowledge. (4 times)
There is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Supreme. (4 times)
There is no ability to change from one state to another, nor any strength, except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great;
in every moment forever, to the number of His creation, to the extent of His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the ink that it would take to write His Words.
After the Fajr and Maghrib prayers add:
O Allāh, protect us from Hellfire. (7 times)
Let us dwell with the foremost in the highest gardens of Paradise, eternally, without any prior punishment, reproach, trial, or reckoning, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. And likewise for our parents, progeny and loved ones until the Day of Judgement. And may the blessings and peace of Allāh be upon our master Muḥammad, and upon his family and his companions.
A prayer for all Muslims is recommended after every salah
After the Fajr and Asr prayers add:
{Those who believe and whose hearts find peace in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace.}
